I have known I wanted to do a blog for some time and just have not gotten to it. However, I have been writing down my thoughts and experiances so I could add them when I finally got this going. I will continue adding entries from the past three months until I am caught up! Here is my first entry.
April 15, 2008 Tax Day
Today is the day I found out after being 100% sure that we were reporting to Vandenberg Air Force base in California, we are actually going to Maxwell Air force base in Alabama for Matthew's six week second lieutenant training. My mom and I looked at websites to help us get an idea of where I was headed to. We had no success finding a website with pictures, advice, or any helpful information, at least not any information an expectant wife is looking for. That is when I had a brilliant idea to make a website just for military wives. Ideas for life in the military, pictures and base info that a wife would actually want to see! My hope for this website is that military wives will be encouraged by information, my personal musings and experiences and interaction with each other via the blog.
